Editorial El Miserable Ilustrado

This is a project we maintained we some friends from Quilpué, Valparaíso and Santiago. See our website for further information. The idea is to develop creative ways to bypass the problems writers experience when they want to publish a book. Through self-publishing and economic methods we have published two books—Cornucopia Miserable and Símbolos.

This is how the books look like once finished. The format is quite simple. Internal signatures are made out of letter-size paper, that were photocopied and folded in the middle (Final size: 6in x 8in). Covers are made of hard cardboard, which were sewn to the signatures and later stencilled.

The idea was to give out these books. So after we made 40 we went to downtown and offer them for free to passersby.
